I thought the old site needed an overhaul (well, getting rid of, actually), so at long last the new one is up.

Same address:

www.johnlprobert.com

Any comments would be most gratefully received.

Even very silly ones

Thanks Griff! I took a poll of about ten people at work (all right, ladies at work) as to whether to change the picture but they all said my personality came through best on that one. So roguish rake I am.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, I did NOT wear fake tan to have the picture taken, as was suggested by one of my nurses

That all happened after I left, Griff.

When I was there it was old ladies eating their husbands, lonely young men constructing golems to wreak their revenge, and beautiful girls who didn't exist. Where the only safe place to hide was the graveyard, and the only thing you could trust was your imagination.

Things have obviously changed a bit.

Can you tell I'm doing another book?

"That all happened after I left, Griff. "

I live just inside the Brecon Beacons National Park opposite my house is a sixteenth century fortified farm house.

Ten minutes down the road and people are selling heroin replete with all the cliched tracky and tache lifestyles that go with it. It's terrible especially for the young kids you see.
I feel like an extra from Apocalypse Now, "The Horror The Horror!"

Three things about J.L.Probert.

1/ He appears to be a frightfully good chap.
2/ He is a dead ringer for Deep Purple vocalist Ian Gillan.
3/ He has a copy of Faculty of Terror surgically attached to his hand.
