Does anyone fancy driving the new Amur Highway from Moscow to Vladivostok?

I'm serious.

I'd go in a Vod car, the new model from a burgeoning Russian automobile manufactuer. What do you reckon? I'll drive, I'll drive.

Shut up and eat your ice cream!

What? No cream? Ah, well, just eat your ice, then. Little bastard.

So, you want a complete stranger (one with admitted sociopathic tendencies) to meet you in Moscow and share a little car to Vlodivostok?

You could be a serial killer. Even worse; you could be a Muslim.

(That was a joke, btw).

Where do I sign up. :-)

That's a plot. Miles of highway across the wastes, and the tagline from Griff 'You have one life and this ain't a rehersal' An epic in five acts. That is a crazy idea Griff, but it would probably be a memorable trip. (And bring lots of photo-equipment) ;-)

I hate these guys. They bought Hitler's paintings and defaced them. I'd love to smash up their work and say it was art.

Not that I like Hitler - I just don't like the idea of defacing anything.
And those stupid cds that have 'Steal this cd' on the front.

They were showing that stuff on't telly the other night, Albs - two guys who'd designed their version of hell using thousands of plastic figurines. The cases containing all this were arranged in the shape of a swastika...

I've really grown to hate art and art galleries. I don't want to be a meldrew or an old git but it actually does bore and annoy me, and the money involved makes me want to puke. It's like being paid to enjoy yourself, it's overvalued. And I hate the atmosphere in the Tate modern; a Disneyland of pretentiousness. art should be tucked away almost, stumbled upon. Mixed in with life and not lumped together, treated like some holy thing.

If it gets too expensive there's always the Trans-Siberian Railway or the Baikal-Amur Mainline.
£200-£300 from Moscow to Vladivostok.

Plus travel to and accommodation in Moscow: £2000. Ask Man Utd or Chelsea fans.

It's embarrassing to watch the Chapman brothers spit out the usual crap in an attempt to justify their work. Apparantley we need to see images of horror to see how fragile we are.

Hah! They can't just admit horror is exciting and leave it at that. No, that would make it seem less like art.

As for defacing old artworks. Sheesh. There ought to be a law against it.

Or for it, depending on how I feel.

Have you ever read Daniil Kharms, Griff? The secret of my identity is hidden in the blue notebook number ten.

The Cd with "Steal this album" on the front is Steal this album by System of a Down. they're really good live but I can take or leave their studio stuff.

I'm really annoyed,. I can't go to download this year and two of my favourite bands are playing...
