It was fine up until the figure.
Is there any more creepier sound than footsteps? These movies work best when you don't see a single thing.

Talk about flogging a dead horse. I heard, from every horror fan I know who saw it, that PA was really poor and not at all scary. So I didn't bother.

Anyone seen that truly awful sequel to 'The Blair Witch Project'?

PA was scary! Not 'great' at all, but some really creepy bits. If I were the makers I'd take the shears to it, take out the ouija bit and the bit with the internet.
It would be more loved if it hadn't been such a hit I think, which sounds odd (it's how horror fans work).

I agree with you, Tony, about the removal of the "ouija bit and the bit with the internet."
I'd also remove the rather comical footprints!

PA was a fantastic idea and in general competently done, but I agree completely about the ouija/internet bits. I should have loved it but it ultimately didn't work for me and I'm still not sure why. Blair Witch scared me sleepless, but this one just left me feeling bemused as to why I wasn't scared. I guess I was just too aware of its gimmickry (if that's a word) to immerse myself whereas with Blair Witch I was there all the way.

If you check my comments when I got round to seeing it, I really enjoyed it. I don't wan tto see a sequel though.

Just saw this last night and liked quite a bit. Not great--it doesn't dig too deep into the human psyche, but I'm with Tony: it's what I don't see that scares me more: the face without a face. The noising shadow in the corner.
