Nice. There's even an underpass! Not to mention the telephones . . . A great little actress, too. |

Filmed locally to me....I reckon that 'fen' scene at the start is Blakeney or Morston. See, some good things come out of East Angular! (Like the A11...) gcw |

If anyone wants to know what Britain is...watch that film. The scenery AND the weirdoes. I wonder what they did to her. Fed her scones till she died, probably. |

Does anyone remember an English seventies suspense series with a moustached Peter Jeffreys? This episode features a little girl (Peter Jeffreys is the father) who accepts pills from strangers and kills other children. Near the end she asks her father innocently whether he too sees the ghosts of the kids she has murdered. I'd like to know whether this can be had on dvd. |

Hmmm is that the one where the creepy shadow sits in a chair and the fingers stretch out like claws? |

My memories of the SEVENTIES are similar to Andrew Collins in WHERE DID IT ALL GO RIGHT?: Growing Up Normal In the 70s. Cracking good book, seek it out. An antidote to misert memoires. |

Remember the episode with the fag packet turned into a flick knife. With the little girls murdered daddy hidden in the airing cupboard? What were my folks thinking letting me watch that! |

I don't think it's ARMCHAIR THRILLER. My memory of the thing is very dim, but I'm practically certain it was early to mid-seventies, '74, '75. Thanks for the title, Griff, I'll see if I can find it. |

Hey thanks for posting that, GF. I just watched it. Brrr. Saw it coming, but didn't make it any less creepy. They way that woman toys with her - calling the cops... I do wonder what they were going to do to her. How did the kill the last one??? They seem menacing but not violent. It's lovely the way it gets your imagination going though - filling in all the pieces... My favorite kind of tale. |
