He's already been in WHO, though, hasn't he? In the first Non-Doc episode. We don't want to encourage the Colin Baker factor. |

I heard somewhere that Dr Who can pick faces. Is that right? Er, i mean to borrow/use, not just reach out and start poking. Warren is good in these clips though... |

Is there any rule saying the Doctor has to be white, I wonder? Imagine Richard Ayoade in the role... ;-) |

>>He's already been in WHO, though, hasn't he? Lots of actors appeared in WHO in smaller roles before coming back in major roles. Although I think you're right about Colin Baker being the only one to come back as the Doctor. |

It would feel weird for the doctor to change race. It would also feel a cynical, pc move. But Ayoade should definitely be in it - he's ace. As an aside - I wonder if there ever will be a male assistant proper, not just a 'tin dog' replacement? |

I'd love to see Ayoade as the Doctor - they could say the Daleks or Sontarans turned him black or something. ;-) Only kidding (mostly). I just love Richard Ayoade, and would like to see him in something like Who. |

I've been feeling really sad about the story about this footballer who got drunk and drove into a car with this dad and two kids in it; the dad will be paraplegic and the lads are dead. It sounded horrible. I hated the footballer till i heard he cried all the way through his apprearance in court. In a weird way it must be easier to die than be responsible for death. |

But he looks good in other things, and feels alien. Maybe he might frighten kids, though. Maybe he should have been the Master. |

Dr Who doesn't have to be good looking. Well, he does now. For the kids. |

I meant good in 'right'. I've just ordered the Dracula he was in because I realised I quite like familiar things being tweaked. Frankenstein was and we took most of them to our hearts. I like the look of his powers in it, too. Hopping about into identities, changing shape and stuff. Funny if he turned out to be an alien. Dracula, I mean. |

Not put off by his face? He just seems too hard to look at for the roles he gets. |
