Do you like PG Wodehouse, Ramsey?

We've just watched Prisoner of Azkaban tonight; a version that strayed a bit from the book but which is actually something of a kid's movie classic, I reckon.
We've been having a bit of a marathon of the series this week; the first is quite sweet, the second a little more oomphy, but this one is just such a rich film - not necessarily dramatically but for capturing a world and making you swallow it whole while you watch. It's lovely - like being given a trolley dash round Thorntons.
(I wasn't crazy on the last Potter book, btw, but the rest of them had lots to recommend them.)

The thing is, some folk really come down on HP even though there really is so much worse out there. All you can think they must have a problem with is her success.

I read the first Potter book, Tony, just to see what the fuss was about. I thought it was funny in places and could see why kids liked it. I couldn't quite figure out the appeal to adults, though. I haven't read any more than the first. But again, it's cool. JK never planned on world domination.

Actually, I'd love it if Ramsey's done or does one of the postcards.

They improve. The later ones are pretty affecting, and imaginative. Azkaban is stunning, plot-wise.
