George Lucas is re-releasing the entire star wars series again - but this time - IN 3D.

Who'da thunk it? George Lucas using the latest gimmick to milk his only cash cow AGAIN.

But who shoots first, this time around?

Craig, oddly I thought the change had stuck in the first re-masters, but no, apparently:

quote:

The 2006 DVD had two versions—the 2004 changes and the original theatrical version. The theatrical version features no changes, including Han Solo shooting without Greedo firing a shot. When announcing the dual-version DVDs, Lucasfilm noted that the scene was included by saying: "...and yes, [viewers] see Han Solo shoot first."

So your question is still relevant. Maybe with 3D we get to see if Han is actually pointing the gun in the right angle to hit the side of a barn (see other thread about how to qualify for Stormtrooper "Can't Aim Worth a Damn" status).

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has 'written' a novel. She spent a day a week at it 'with a lovely girl called Claire who wrote it all up properly' for a year. I don't know if it's in 3-D.

I wonder what the young George Lucas would've thought of the corproate guy the older one has become?

Good old Tara P-T - she's tireless.
I recall Kerry Katona being on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross a couple of years back promoting 'her' new book. When asked the title, she couldn't remember it as she'd had so little, if anything, to do with the writing of it.

I would rather prefer to see him produce a new big budget SF trilogy, based on Dan Simmons' Hyperion for example.

I would prefer to see the next Star Wars trilogy. Originally there were supposed to be nine films. He could make dilligent use of the earlier actors who have all grown older.
