You may have heard of the 10:10 video where children, adults and celebrities are 'blown up' for not getting behind cutting carbon emissions, being greener etc. Written by Richard Curtis, he of 'Crap, Actually' fame - I think the video is a corker, but shocking people into listening is way different to just shocking people. As a spoof video this probably would have had the desired effect; the vitriol aimed against this video is quite something to behold. I just think it's really, really funny - and the message goes way over my head. I'm sure it shouldn't be doing that... See for yourself - but remember, people of a delicate or sensitive nature should probably stay clear. But then again, we are on a horror board http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xx4yr0FFhMQ&has_verified=1 |

I think it's terrific fun. It certainly made me laugh. But yeah, the vitriol. **sigh** |

Thing is, from a marketing point of view (what this is all about), does it make people more sensitive about carbon emission? Not sure about that... |
