Why is it that movies from last decade that were reputed to be duff now look fantastic? I caught a bit of this last night and was thoroughly gripped and astonished by the luridity, the tone of it. It got reviewed as a stinker back in the day but now it just seems entirely fab. It's so risky and vibrant. I stopped watching it because I didn't see the beginning, and want to watch it proper, but now find it's not out here yet on dvd. I admit I might be being premature with my opinions. |
