Try this Craig. I'm not offering a side, just a view. I've read this chap's articles before, he usually annoys the hell out of me, he still does, but I thought you'd be interested:http://uk.news.yahoo.com/comment/dont-panic/occupy-stock-exchange-knowledge-not- obstruction-133453096.html |

Frank, Caroline, I'm all in agreement with these two articles. So, I think in essence, we're on the same side. As long as the movement remains un-annexed by (here in the States) either political party, it remains honest and truth-to-power-full. There was/is to me a loathsome attempt by the Dems/political-left-power-aristocrats, to confiscate the movement, and use it to forward their own ends: that march on a tour of the homes of ONLY a select few conservative uber-wealthy, to me, disgustingly ignores the uber-wealthy on the other side; who are just as guilty in this whole economic mess, and who are only trying to avert attention from themselves. New York City's Mayor Bloomberg is a disgusting plutocrat himself, after all (did any of these marchers miss this recent spread? http://www.nytimes.com/2011/09/20/nyregion/a-glimpse-at-bloombergs-lavish-tastes -at-home.html) As long as the movement remains the Wikileaks of pluto-fucks exposure, it remains unsullied by the corruption of the powerful. Let us hope it remains that way, and isn't ultimately exploited by devious devils who only seek one thing: their own preservation and expansion, at all and any costs. |
