I think a couple of folk here said they were reading this when it first came out in the UK. It's now out in North America, and gets a huge 'two thumbs up' from me. A magnificent novel from one really nice guy. Christopher |

It's a beautiful, beautiful book - and, yes, Graham's a great guy. |

I thought it was very good, but it read like a mystery- as if there would be some big reveal at the end - and there wasn't. the ending was exactly as any genre fan would spot about 6 pages in. I really enjoyed it but have to say I was a little bit disappointed at the ending. |

Weber - the ending was telegraphed on the first page, before the story even begins, with the piece of poetry used at the start of the book. I don't think it read like a mystery at all; it was more of a metaphysical love story. A beautiful novel, IMHO. |

I'm with Gary - Some of the best books are about the journey, not the destination. |

I'm just saying how the book felt to me. It felt like he was building to some kind of revelation at the end, and there wasn't. We'll have to agree to disagree on this one. |

I was actually relieved it ended like it did; pleased there wasn't an attempt at a twist ending or a big reveal. I thought it was a great book. |
