...The worst piece of steaming shit TV programme must go to.... BONEKICKERS! Yes folks, I watch little TV...But somehow I happened upon this fetid abomination staining the TV Schedules. Truly, it is awful, It makes Torchwood look like a work of high art. It's so bad I am starting to develope a strange attraction to it. Dear me. gcw |

"It's so bad I am starting to develope a strange attraction to it." Yes indeedy! Here at Probert towers we are stunned by how truly awful it is, at the ludicrous plots, how miscast the totally unbelievable and unrealistic main characters are, and the senseless waste of the quite good production values. This week's episode was perhaps the nadir(?peak) so far, managing to combine a stupidly unbelievable plot (they've never really excavated the Roman Baths at Bath properly despite it actually being one of the most well-documented sites on the planet) with some niftily daft set pieces (a roman hand grenade minefield and attacks from a deadly sulphuric acid vapour) a nauseatingly poor romantic subplot, a really, really stupid ending and still managing to make the second half drag to the point of being boring. Watchable only for Hugh Bonneville's character, who is kind of like I would probably have been if I'd done archaeology, this is miles more entertaining than Torchwood, which is simply shit. BONEKICKERS has to be seen to be believed. I can't wait for next week and another chance to throw things at the telly. |

I'd watch the wile Vivien, Lord P. She tricked Merlin and was surely responsible for the loss of Excalibur. But GCW's right and correct. Far and away the funniest thing on telly. The Roman soldier's dialogue clearly translated from the latin: "Okay, kill me then, dude-ius." |

"I can't wait for next week and another chance to throw things at the telly." Its that sort of dreadful isn't it? -So bad you do actually laugh at it, whereas Torchwood is just plain annoying. Surely this can't get a second series...SURELY?? gcw |

Yes, but it is a hate so powerful that many people remark how much like love it is...before I push them down a well. Which I then spit down. |

A lot of wells in Hull, are there? I mean, what are the chances of this happening - you just happening to be standing with someone who's misunderstanding your hatred...next to a well? Frankly, I don't believe you. I think you're lying. |

Huff! I say wells, I meant, an open sewer. Or a mud river. There are many mud rivers in Hull. With fragile wooden bridges spanning them this way and that. Designed by the same bloke who worked with David Lean on Oliver. |

The Hull and Goole Wells Company were so technologically advanced that they go by the name: H G Wells. |
