Hungarian bogeyman.

"Hungary - "Rézfaszú bagoly" the word literally means "copper penis owl", the expression is often used to frighten kids when they do something wrong or just to have them fear something, usually the expression is used in the following context "the copper penis owl will take you away"
Psychological paranoid."

What do you think of another Hungarian, Zoltan Kodaly?
Have you heard one of the world's greatest works - his solo cello sonata?

And wasn't the music in 'Close Encounters of A Third Kind' (the connecting signal to the alien craft) based on Kodaly?

The only Kodaly I have is Psalmus Hungaricus. Nice though... It's on a CD with Janacek's Glagolitic Mass, which is highly recommended - the title sounds almost Lovecraftian!

This is the connection between Kodaly and CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND:
http://www.wguc.org/content/display.asp?id=34

Albie, Hungary is the link between the thread start and Kodaly, via the audit trail of Liszt writing a concerto for Copper Penis Owl and Orchestra.

Janacek's Glagolitic Mass is superb, Mick. Love the organ solo,

Explaining stuff to Albie is like giving a painting manual to Picasso.

Actually it's like giving a manual to Picasso. The effects are exciting, but it's best to keep your eyes shut.

Actually this has become a Dadaistic thread of the highest order!
Who agrees with me that Dada was a very important Art Movement - and has it influenced you? It certainly has influenced the cover of Cone Zero - and the blank Nemonymous etc etc

Think I influenced it by.

Was Yoda a Dadaist?

Dada Yoda?

It has its place. But I've never found making cutups any use. I used to do it with audio. I made a lot of Dada music years ago.

Can you take any credit if you accidentally create a good tune that way?

It is good to chuck dada in when you are writing surreal fiction, especially at moments of passion. To signify madness.

It took me 8 seconds to figure that out.

My mirth has been swallowed up by my own self hate.
