Hey Everyone: This week thoughts about a lesser-known novel by one of my favorites and a gentleman who gets discussed on this board from time to time: http://tbdeluxe.blogspot.com/2012/06/thoughts-on-pnin-by-vladimir-nabokov.html

Was in Dark Carnival in Berkeley yesterday and forced myself--lifting myself by my collar--to walk away from the 2-vol. set of Karl Edward Wagner stories. (I placed "Dragon's Ark" there too, but somehow my inability to buy the Wagner stories pings in deeper my soul.)

Someone should do something similar for Charles Grant!

Thanks for reading! And have a good week!

Thomas

Thanks, Ramsey! I didn't know about the Grant collection, shame on me. I discovered him not too long after I started reading your work. "The Garden of Blackred Roses" in Kirby McCauley's "Dark Forces" was, I recall, the first story I read by him. I submitted a story to him once and he politely turned it down.
