As browsing Amazon.uk, I found out two new Gray Friar titles, "Terror Tales of Yorkshire" and "Horror Uncut". They are given as already available whereas they are not, or not yet, in the Gray Friar Press catalogue. Are they for real?

Terror Tales of Yorkshire is definitely real. I picked up a copy at FantasyCon the other weekend. Haven't started reading it yet though, but I'm sure it'll be as good as the rest of the series. I'm surprised it isn't on the Gray Friar website yet - I guess Gary hasn't got around to putting it on there yet?

Horror Uncut was mentioned at FantasyCon - I heard a reading from it. Sounds like it's going to be excellent. I think this is the one which Joel was co-editing before his untimely passing, wasn't it? I don't *think* it's out officially yet. Not sure when it's due.

It might be worth dropping an email to Gary via the Gray Friar website, Giancarlo. I'm not sure he comes on this forum very much (at all?) nowadays. I haven't seen him post here for ages anyway. But, yes, they're definitely real though I don't know when you'll be able to get hold of copies if you don't want to use Amazon.

Horror Uncut is definitely still happening - I know because I'm in it - and as far as I know it's pretty much imminent. But Prof Fry is the man to ask.

Giancarlo - it'll be worth seeing if Terror Tales of Yorkshire is available direct from Gray Friar now too. I think it should be by now. I'm most of the way through it and it's an excellent assortment of tales. I'm finding it especially interesting since I live in Yorkshire!

And now Terror Tales of Yorkshire is up on the Gray Friar site too:

It's a good anthology. I think Stephen Bacon's "Summer of Bradbury" will particularly appeal to many people here. It's definitely my favourite from this book.
