I should think folk who post here or even read the postings know that I'm opposed to censorship. I think the board shows that people can express themselves freely here. I hope it's not too radical a notion to suggest that this freedom should include the chap whose name is at the head of the web site. If I see something on this board I disagree with, I'll make that clear if I choose to. I believe I do so in a civilised fashion. | ||

There's a kind of censorship that involves implied self righteousness, which manifests through well chosen words from a hierarchical source. Which in itself implies a sense of expectation unfulfilled. | ||

Jese, I'm really beginning to feel sorry for Ramsey. He's going to have to start another thread about this one now. I've disagreed with Ramsey on some issues in the past, but I do think he's entitled to more respect than either name-calling or sardonicism. It's not the points that are being made that I object to as such, it's the tone. | ||
