I haven't got around to listening to any of these yet - but I fully intend to once things are less hectic for me. |

Do others feel there is any mileage in reading their fiction aloud for the Internet...better than e-books? Better even than real books?? |

I'd be an avid listener if more people did do this. I've always enjoyed live readings, and I've always enjoyed audiobooks. Maybe I'm just too lazy to actually read books myself! (only kidding) |

I mean, I'm only kidding about being too lazy to read - not that I enjoy live readings, etc. Oh dear, I do sometimes wish this board had an edit button .. |

I'm sort of pleased with this. A story I wrote today that will never appear in print. Read aloud (5 minutes) from here: http://weirdmonger.blog-city.com/a_wallow_to_follow.htm A Wallow To Follow. |

Thanks, for that new catchphrase. "Cold Chips, Missus?" Charlie Chump's catchphrase at the Sadd Theatre. |

One of my readings has appeared here as a free MP3 download, without my permission: http://www.mp3s.pl/mp3/D._F._Lewis_-_Work_Not_Strictly_Done/2400547 Not sure I should be worried. |

Discovered six others! By googling "df lewis" "mp3". They must have taken them from the links I gave on my blog over a year ago. |

Hmmm. That doesn't seem right somehow, though I guess it's only making them freely available to all, as you've done anyway, and they're not making anything out of it. Would be totally wrong if they were selling them for profit though! It would seem common courtesy to me that if someone wanted to do that (even for free), then they should have asked your permission. |

I've just re-organised my readings aloud: http://nullimmortalis.wordpress.com/dfl-readings-aloud/ I have had a lot of feedback on these over the years. |
