"Keep watching the pies", as the fat baker said after an alien attack.

Lord P; just realised, Fulci is Laurel and Hardy and Argento is Chaplin! Does this make sense, or do I need to extrapolate? |

Tony you've confused me, but at least you've moved the 'Paging Lord Probert' thread up from the very bottom of the list! |

L&H were loose, seemingly casual. The results were that their work felt warmer. Chaplin felt cold because he was so calculated, thought out to the last nph. You like Fulci for his L&H qualities. Heck, he's even quite slapstick when you think about it. |

Tony you may well be spot on there. I've always loved Laurel & Hardy and never ever warmed to Chaplin - maybe that's why. |

I prefer the Marx Brothers. I have no idea who their Italian-horror counterparts would be. Wait, Chico pretended to be Italian, didn't he? Well, there you go. |

Laurel and Hardy and Buster Keaton for me. Yep, they do it for me, too - although I still love the Marx Bros... Favourite being DUCK SOUP. |
