Picked up a copy of BS 11 on my lunch break, not had a chance to look at it yet, but thought I'd let people know its available. |

Had it delivered the other day. That'll be the last one of my subscription. Don't think I'll renew it - I'm in a bit of a huff with them. Such is the way of rejections. |

John, I'm glad you put that smiley on the end, there. :-) Fwiw, I never tried them with anything. I used to get The Third Alternative all the time. Nvere picked up a copy of Black Static, yet. It's good, no? I still hate the name, though. |

I get Black Static and always look forward to it. I've never submitted anything to Andy yet either. |

It can be a bit patchy, as you'd expect with any collection of stories, but the quality is generally pretty high. Good reviews section. I have some problems with the columnists - they can be a bit too insular and tend to have a bit of a blind-spot when it comes to horror/sci-fi. They also give the impression of not being too well-read outside of the field, and tend to go over old points and arguements as if they're the first one to come up with them. |

I tend to like nearly all the fiction. I'm a subscriber. The artwork is also excellent. |

Ditto. The fact they regularly publish Daniel Kaysen and James Cooper, two of the best new short story writers around at the moment (imo), is reason enough to subscribe. |
