What can I say? It's like catching Elvis Presley and Bruce Springsteen at a Karaoke competition.

I had feared it would be the case...DePalma lost the plot a few years ago.

Though the review on IMDB does give us this gem:

"This movie is as dull as a butter knife, as bland as spice-free food, and as empty as a dried-up well."

That may be the best example I've ever seen of a writer trying to, as it were, drive fast in a car with no petrol.

I have a pal who goes to movies a lot and he liked it. Let me stress; he goes to movies a lot. He is not into films. The style and quality might have gone completely over his head. His words were 'It didn't send me to sleep'. This equates with being 'good'.
Jeezuz - what the hell am I going on about?

Tony, isn't that a bit like describing a meal thus: "It wasn't inedible"?
